Happy 2024 from the staff of Cherry Lane Montessori!. We are excited to start the new year continuing with our Montessori curriculum with our preschoolers, kindergarteners and elementary students. We left last year with a successful few months, moving in to our new building, welcoming new students, parent- teacher conferences and a wonderful winter holiday program with the children’s beautiful singing, and tasting some delicious international food, provided by our supportive parents. Thank you for a restful holiday break to all the Teachers . We are rested and ready to take on the challenge. We are a phone call away with any questions or support you may have.

What’s new
We are opening a library for the kids. We will have a library Mom, Miss. Teresa. She will be setting up the library in the coming few weeks. Our plan is to have children check out books on Mondays and Fridays and return them the following week. If you have gently used books to donate we will be happy to have them.
Our Unit of study for January is the Continent of Asia. We will learn about the countries of Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan and China. We will learn about their food, clothing, shelter, animals and plants We will end the study of Asia with a Chinese new year celebration. If anyone of you have travelled or lived in any of these countries please share.. we would like to see any items, pictures or experience of these countries.
Our goal for this year as always to help the kids learn the skills of reading, writing and Mathematics!
- Musical kids are on Tuesdays, if you want to sign up your kids it’s $40 per month ( not full)
- Piano class is on Tuesdays as well and the cost is $100 per month (one more spot available. Child has to be at least 4 years old)
- Dance classes are on Wednesdays the cost is $42 per month
